Lapi Meccanica was founded in 1988 as a company which supplies mechanical manufacturing for third parties, and has evolved through developing important collaborations with companies operating in sectors regarding energy, textile, food, paper, leather and lighting.

The company, which is specialized in working medium sized batches, has 10 employees in two different locations, owned by the company and covering a total of 1200 m, in the industrial zone of Scopeti in the Comune of Rufina (Florence).

Experience gained in mechanical manufacturing has allowed the company to consolidate its know-how, thanks to a constant evolution in the technological field, both regarding machines and equipment, and in the perfecting of their production processes. It continues to invest in the quality and professional skills of its technical staff.

The company has a large range of high precision, fast and flexible machinery for the various manufacturing operations: lathes (including one multitasking model), milling machines (including one with 5 axles), grinding machines, assembly stations, control systems and an equipped testing room.

It also possesses internal engineering for the design of the equipment, groups or kits for the final client and offers the possibility of assembling complete groups in its own headquarters. The company uses three-dimensional Cad-Cam designs to support the client from the design stage to the manufacture of mechanical parts, up to assembly and testing.
